Shadow Column Balcony Railing
A privacy-oriented steel balcony railing defined by deep vertical columns and pronounced shadow lines. Shadow Column increases visual screening while maintaining a disciplined architectural rhythm across the elevation.
Depth, shadow and screening through vertical mass.
Shadow Column uses 2″ × 1″ tubular steel columns arranged vertically and spaced approximately 2″ apart. The deeper profile creates pronounced shadow lines and reduces direct sightlines compared with a conventional open picket design.
A concealed 2″ × 2″ tubular steel interior frame supports the composition while remaining visually secondary to the exterior column rhythm. Each railing is fabricated to the selected project dimensions and finish.
