Sorrento Scroll Trellis

The Sorrento Scroll Trellis combines symmetrical upper and lower scrollwork with a distinctive interlaced central pattern for decorative exterior wall applications and climbing vegetation.

Key Specifications

Steel Construction

Each Sorrento Scroll Trellis is fabricated as a welded architectural steel assembly. The selected overall width and height are the finished exterior dimensions of the trellis.

Frame: 1″ × 1″ square steel tube, 16 ga perimeter frame.
Interior: 1/2″ solid square steel bar with 1/2″ × 1/8″ formed steel collars and decorative nodes.
Geometry: 24″ ornamental base module repeated horizontally. The approved 48″ composition is proportionally adapted vertically for taller standard heights.

Stand-Off Mounting System

4″, 6″, and 8″ Fixed Stand-Off: standard attachment points use 1″ × 3/16″ steel flat-bar stand-offs extending from the trellis to the mounting surface. Each standard mounting point includes one attachment hole.

Adjustable 8″–12″: a telescopic steel mounting system using 1″ × 1″ × 1/8″ inner tube and 1-1/4″ × 1-1/4″ × 1/8″ outer tube allows depth adjustment for uneven wall conditions.

Wall anchors are not included. Anchor type, size, embedment, and substrate suitability must be selected by the installer or project professional for the actual wall construction and field conditions.

Standard Trellis Sizes

Widths: 24″, 30″, 36″, 42″, 48″, 60″.
Heights: 48″, 60″, 72″, 84″, 96″, 108″, 120″.

Widths of 72″, 84″, 96″, 108″, and 120″ are handled as Custom Project / Request a Quote configurations rather than standard online variations.

Surface Preparation & Finish

Sandblast → Zinc Primer → Powder Coat

The fabricated steel is prepared by sandblasting, followed by zinc primer and the selected architectural powder-coat finish.

Installation & Attachment

Final attachment requirements depend on substrate, wall construction, project location, product size, stand-off depth, environmental exposure, and field conditions. AMP supplies the fabricated trellis and selected stand-off configuration; field anchors are selected and supplied by the installer.

Plant Growth & Maintenance

Plant selection, training, irrigation, pruning, and maintenance remain project-specific. Allow appropriate clearance between vegetation and the building envelope and inspect attachment points periodically.

Custom Architectural Projects

AMP can review custom widths, project quantities, alternate mounting conditions, and project-specific trellis requirements. Standard online widths stop at 60″; larger widths are quoted separately.
